Anti-Racist Action and its sister, Anti-Fascist Action, are international groups dedicated to opposing racism and fascism in all their forms through direct action. The current Milwaukee chapter got its start over a year ago, forming in order to disrupt the functioning of the racist group White Revolution. It was also a major part of the Anti-Racist Action bloc that formed when the NSM came to Madison last summer and continues to harass the Wisconsin chapter of that group whenever it attempts to organize.
ARA has also had a presence at the marches in support of Immigrant's Rights in both Madison and Milwaukee. ARA stands in support of this struggle and in opposition to the racist backlash that has arisen. ARA also stands ready to use direct action against those propagating homophobic, anti-choice, sexist or other discriminatory viewpoints contrary to the creation of a free and classless society.
